Love was in the air at The Village of Meyerland. Seven couples living at The Village of Meyerland renewed their wedding vows on Valentines Day. The afternoon was a time of renewed commitment to each other, a time to honor their marriage and cherish their love among family and friends.
The brides carried bouquets, the grooms wore boutonnieres, and love filled the halls of the community. Reverend Mark Marmon and Rabbi Scott Hausman-Weiss led each couple through their vows. After a blessing, the couples restated their commitment to one another.
In one afternoon, 476 years of marriage were renewed with seven “I do’s”, champagne, cake and a few kisses.
For many couples, memory care issues with a spouse can present challenges. However, at The Village of Meyerland, many of our couples can maintain their marital commitments because we can provide memory care for one spouse and assisted living accommodations for the other. This flexibility of care allows us to meet a wide variety of needs and situations for married couples.
