Retirement Center Management is pleased to announce the appointment of Anthony Ormsbee as the assisted living and memory care community’s new Executive Director. The hire follows Anthony’s track record of success within Retirement Center Management. Anthony joined the Village of Meyerland on April 24.
“What an honor and joy to have the opportunity to lead The Village of Meyerland,” Ormsbee said. “I am energized by Retirement Center Management’s commitment to quality and their determination to rethink senior living. This is a magical place infused with the adventurous spirit of so many from the Greatest Generation.”
Anthony has become somewhat of an oddball in the senior living industry given his young age, yet he is known for bringing innovation and creativity to communities that he leads.
Throughout his career, Anthony has been tapped as a speaker for the Texas Assisted Living Association annual conference and will be speaking later in 2017 at the Leading Age Texas annual conference. Anthony currently serves as a member of the board of directors for St. James House Foundation which oversees developing senior resources for the Episcopal Diocese of Texas.
“Anthony is a rising star at Retirement Center Management. His energy, creativity, passion and love for the residents and staff are what makes him so successful” stated Jim Gray, President of Retirement Center Management.
Ormsbee joins The Village of Meyerland during an exciting time in the community’s development, including the recent addition of “The Village Park”, and Anthony will focus on developing a strategic plan for resident programs, dining, and resident health and wellness.
