My father is in Village of Meyerland since March 1. He always has a lot of attention and care. He is happy there. I appreciate for the Village of Meyerland management especially to Steffany Kluttz and Sumera Khuwaja.

I recently had the pleasure of meeting and working with Sumera K., Assistant Director of Residential Services to coordinate care for my uncle and his wife who are residents of VOM. Sumera is a caring, competent professional who works effectively with a range of interdisciplinary team members both inside and outside the facility. She provides compassionate care and it is clear her priority is the comfort and enjoyment of residents. VOM is amazing as others have said; however the exquisite personalized care is top notch. As a doctoral level clinical psychologist, I am familiar with the challenges of treating geriatric patients and the myriad of issues associated with caring for them and their families. SHOUT OUT TO SUMERA!!!

Love this residence! The staff is always professional and friendly. The facility is always clean. You can see the heart connection between the residents and staff. Activities for the residence are well thought out and engaging. This is a wonderful place for your loved ones.

**Update: I originally put three stars because honestly the care team is awesome. But the interactions with the Director and their unwillingness to work with the family makes me move this to one star. I would not recommend VoM to anyone with the current management in place.**
Village of Meyerland charges 30 days rent after someone dies. It’s in the contract because you have to give “notice” to get out of contract.
It seems like this somewhat common practice, but still a shock. Read the fine print when signing a contract for your loved one.
For my review of Village of Meyerland. We were there for 3 years in both Assisted Living and Memory Care. I give the caregivers 5 stars! They are some of the most loving and caring people ever. I give the Management Staff 1.5 stars. Lots of turnover, not great communication, and not easy to work with over the years. The sales team was great and gets you in the door, but not a fan of most of the other staff.

Had the pleasure to come here to assist a family to get her dads Medical Power attorney notarized. As we are a mobile notary for senior care. I was greeted by Jackie the concierge with a great smile and hospitality and very helpful.

Wonderful facility for our mom! Amazing staff provides great service and caring for our loved one! Always a busy schedule with lots of activities and events. The VOM also has wonderful family invited events that are superb. The variety of freshly prepared food is tasty! Our mom loves it here and we love having her be apart of this community.

We chose Village of Meyerland for my in-laws 9 months ago. This has been such a welcoming place for them. The staff is very caring. The activities are great! My in-laws enjoy the exercise classes and art classes the most. It's wonderful having so many daily activities for them to choose which they would like to participate in. I love seeing their pictures on Facebook when they participate in the activities. Highly recommend Village of Meyerland for anyone who is looking for a place to live.

I love living at village of meyerland! From the moment I first visited, everyone was welcoming and kind- it felt like home right away. Everyone is so helpful, warm and friendly and they’ve helped improve my life. I am a vegan and they respect all my dietary needs and give me delicious food. The Chef, KeKe, has gone above and beyond to make my dining experience terrific- I’m never disappointed in a meal. The location is convenient to medical appointments, and for my visitors from all parts of town. Its near restaurants, shopping and more which I love. Living here has been the best experience and I would recommend it for you or your loved one without any reservation.
